Final Major Project: Game Cover Design
For my Final Major Project (FMP), I have chosen to design a game cover. This project will allow me to showcase my creativity, graphic design skills, and understanding of game marketing. The cover will be designed to appeal to the target audience while accurately representing the theme and genre of the game.
Concept and Design The game cover will be visually engaging, incorporating dynamic elements that reflect the storyline and gameplay. I will focus on colour schemes, typography, and imagery to create a compelling and professional-looking cover. The artwork will be designed using industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Additionally, I will conduct research on existing game covers to analyze key design elements that make them successful.
Collaboration To enhance the quality of my project, I have employed Daniel and Keldson to assist with various aspects of the design process. Their expertise and input will help refine the visuals, ensuring that the final product meets industry standards. Daniel will contribute to the illustration and character design, while Keldson will focus on layout and composition. Their assistance will be valuable in achieving a polished and high-quality design.
Research and Development Before starting the design, I will research successful game covers from different genres, studying the use of colors, fonts, and composition. I will also gather feedback from peers and mentors to improve my design. The development process will involve sketching initial ideas, creating digital drafts, and refining the artwork through multiple iterations.
Final Outcome The finished game cover will be a professional, high-quality design suitable for a real game release. It will effectively capture the essence of the game, attracting potential players and standing out in the competitive gaming market. This project will serve as a strong portfolio piece, demonstrating my ability to create engaging and marketable visual content. the game im going to be designing a cover for is a racing games thats going to be called tokyo Drift
